Traditional villages is an important part of historical and cultural heritage, it is a truthful record of the traditional architectural style, outstanding architecture,traditional folk customs and the original spatial form.so traditional villages is our precious cultural heritage resources.However,due to the census block is weak and the resources and assessment is defective,the legacy of the village is disappear to the alarming rate,which is caused China’s historical heritage in great losses.Currently.the evaluation and protection of traditional villages have been caused relevant departments attention, National Housing and Construction Office is sued a Traditional Villages Evaluation Index System in2012,and launched a nation wide evaluation of the traditional villages.The thesis analyzes the first and second batch of Yunnan traditional villages national assessment and reporting,and study the "village Registration Form "and the "traditional villages Evaluation System (Trial)",found that the current national assessment system in the area of the implementation process obviously has many drawbacks,Therefore,a regional tradition evaluation index system is an urgent need.This thesis,first summarized the characteristics of traditional village values,and set up a central area of Yunnan villages based information collection guide lines table, Trying to guide the data collection of traditional villages.Secondly summarized the historical and cultural heritage assessment and evaluation,The current evaluation system deficiencies and their geographical problems in the process of implementing,Combined with field research of typical villages on the central area of Yunnan, Final,built the central area of Yunnan traditional villages evaluation index system,which Including"traditional architecture","village location and pattern"and "intangible cultural heritage".Finally, taking Zhega village of Yuxi, Xiguan village of Chuxiong and Lazhe village of Chuxiong as an example.to verify the rationality and feasibility of the system.
