Research On The Evaluation Of The Human Settlement Environment Renewal Of Traditional Villages In Southwestern Shandong Under The Influence Of Rural Tourism

Traditional villages are one of the carriers of China’s rich history and culture and have important historical and cultural values.With the development of the times,the living environment of some traditional villages in the southwest of Shandong Province can no longer meet the demands of villagers’ life and the requirements of village development.Through the implementation of many policies such as rural tourism and characteristic towns,tourism in traditional villages is currently developing well.Traditional villages themselves have become desirable tourist destinations due to their unique landscape resources,humanistic and artistic atmosphere and historical architecture.Traditional villages suitable for tourism development also require upgrading of their human settlement environment to meet the requirements of modern tourism development.Therefore,the renewal of the human settlement environment of traditional villages in southwest Shandong is of great value to the improvement of villagers’ living standards and the positive development of village industries.The traditional villages of southwest Shandong have commonalities and characteristics in terms of natural endowments,historical development,human settlement environment and the degree of tourism development.Analyze,summarize,and clarify the connotation of the human settlement environment of traditional villages,the existing human settlement environment problems and the factors and indicators affecting the renewal of the human settlement environment of villages.Establish an evaluation system for traditional villages in the region to assess the renewal of the human settlement environment of traditional villages under the influence of rural tourism and refine strategies for optimizing the human settlement environment of traditional villages in the region based on the evaluation results.In this study,the background and significance of the study are firstly explained,and the relevant concepts are analyzed;the relevant studies on rural tourism,human settlement environment evaluation and rural tourism development models at home and abroad are summarized and analyzed,and the main content and framework of the study are determined.Secondly,the study concludes that there exists a correlation between the renewal of the human settlement environment of traditional villages and the development of rural tourism,which is mutually antagonistic and interdependent,thus summarizing and refining the theoretical framework of the evaluation system.Through the research of typical research subjects,the tourism development and human settlement environment renewal of traditional villages in the southwest of Shandong Province are investigated,and their strengths and weaknesses are summarized.Combined with the research and life practices in the southwest of Shandong Province,a qualitative and quantitative evaluation system was constructed using statistical methods such as the Delphi method and the AHP method,resulting in the "Evaluation System of Human Settlement Environment Renewal Indicators for Traditional Villages in the Southwest of Shandong Province under the Influence of Rural Tourism".The evaluation system is used to evaluate the selected traditional villages in the southwest of Shandong Province,and a numerical score is obtained for the renewal of the human settlement environment of the traditional villages in the southwest of Shandong Province in the context of rural tourism.Finally,based on the evaluation system,theoretically and practically,and combining the problems found in the visits and surveys and life practices,we propose an ’Optimization strategy for the renewal of the human settlement environment of traditional villages in southwest Shandong based on the evaluation system’ and a tourism development improvement strategy,taking the village of Shangjiushan as an example.The overall level of human settlement environment renewal in the traditional villages of southwest Shandong under the influence of rural tourism is average,and the degree of tourism development and human settlement environment renewal show a positive correlation.Among them,the village of Shangjiushan has developed more positively under the influence of rural tourism,but some of its human settlement environment has also presented certain problems under the influence of rural tourism.This paper proposes strategies for optimizing the development of rural tourism in terms of functional zoning,development mode and cultural and creative industries,as well as strategies for optimizing human settlement environment renewal in terms of upgrading infrastructure,maintaining traditional style,and inheriting traditional culture.To improve the human settlement environment of traditional villages and guide the sustainable and healthy development of rural tourism.
