Now the gear transmission as a project of the most common form of transmission, whether in China or abroad, and now people are on gear strength design and intensity as a research of heavy weight. In finite element is not yet born, people in gear strength design and strength check on the method is relatively are sketchy, and in effort not only a lot and the most is can’t meet the requirements of the development of the situation. This paper is combined with3d software PRO/E with finite element analysis software ANSYS to determine the helical gear combined with the stress of a detailed study of the problems, so that we in the involute gear for the future of the optimized design, test and calculation method was provided guidance.This paper is mainly by using finite element software ANSYS to analyze the strength of the helical gear problem, because in finite element software ANSYS modeling is a fairly complex a process, the three-dimensional modelling software Pro/E of the inclined gear to the exact modeling, in order to avoid a repeat of the complexity of the model, in this paper the three-dimensional modeling software Pro/E of the inclined gear in the modeling of the parametric design process, Is what we can change the inclined gear after some of the parameters, click to generate button, the system will automatically generate new gear, consequently, when we of the inclined gear in finite element analysis, need not repeatability of the inclined gear to model, so also are greatly improved the inclined gear when we design the accuracy and efficiency. In order to model PRO/E from the precise imported into the ANSYS, this paper use of these two kinds of special interface between the software, so that ensure the inclined gear in the accuracy finite element software, the finite element analysis of the inclined gear, respectively from two Angle analysis, a helical gear is the statics analysis, and the second is to pair of inclined gear nonlinear contact analysis.In order to simplify the model, of the inclined gear in the tooth root in stress analysis, we of the inclined gear on the boundary of the scope of choice, at the same time for a pair of meshing helical gear teeth for the whole process of the stress analysis. According to the characteristics of the helical gear teeth engagement and different meshing area by the loading condition is different, the analysis in the tooth is in when loading the weak gear of the place, and on the gear tooth root fillet radius of the model transition to restart the finite element analysis, reveals the transition to the root fillet radius of tooth root stress influence. In contact analysis due to friction on the tooth contact stress influence is very big, so in contact analysis taking into account the friction coefficient of the contact stress of gear tooth surface influence.
