In the application of solar energy, in order to demand a low cost, simple structure, easy to use, tracking precision solar tracking system, it is designed a kind of based on four quadrant photoelectric detector sun real-time tracking system by this paper.In this paper.the existing sun tracking system detection device and control system are analyzed. With a four quadrant photoelectric detector as the main detector,silicon as auxiliary correction,C8051f040SCM as main control chip,a wide range of sunlight tracking device.The paper analyzes the selection of all parts of the device and the pros and cons of current tracking technology.Design a set of simple structure.low cost,stable operation and high precision sunlight tracking system. We also analyzed the factors affected the accuracy of four quadrant photo detector.Hardware and software circuit is elaborate designed. And through the experimental data proved that the system tracking range in2°-178°between, can make full use of the sun.
