Research On The Wheel Dynamic Bending Fatigue Test Machine

As the Automotive Industry Safety Regulations are increasingly stringent requirements to the performance of the wheels acting as car security device, the wheel dynamic bending fatigue test is a very important part in the testing of wheel performance. In view of the urgent need of wheel bending fatigue testing machine for wheel manufacturing enterprises, a new kind of the wheel dynamic bending fatigue testing machine is developed.The wheel dynamic bending fatigue test machine adopts the way stationary wheel and rotating load to achieve the load to the wheels. This paper gives detailed introduction of the loading arm structure design and the arrangements of the parts on the loading arm, the wheel self-centering mechanism design, the real-time dynamic moment and loading arm offset detection and the calibration of sensor. The FEM simulation shows that the structure satisfies the design requirements.The loading test results show:The testing machine running stably and the main process parameters achieve the design requirements.
