Distribution network is an important part of the power system, acting as a final link to the user. The entire power system and power supply capacity of the ultimate quality of the user must be achieved through it. With the development of the national economy and the increasing electricity load, users of the distribution network and power supply capacity need a higher quality requirement, which brings the problem of reasonable distribution network planning. The balance of reliability and economy has become a current research focus, combining the reliability goals as well as the economic and social benefits.Firstly, the concept of distribution network planning considering reliability is studied in the paper, and the concept of Life Cycle Management is introduced. Lean distribution network regulation adapting the current distribution network planning methods is raised, which brings up the new framework of planning. The framework includes last year investment evaluation, current evaluation grid status, power load forecasting of the system, distribution network optimization planning, selection of planning projects and planning assessments.Secondly, the distribution network grid planning is studied. Overhead lines and cables fault line fault were analyzed using analytical method respectively, forming a quantitative assessment of the reliability prediction model. A distribution network planning model is established considering planning scheme investment efficiency of the entire life cycle. This model seeks to reduce investment and operating costs while taking the improved reliability of power supply into account to enhance the economic value and the system loss minimization. The effective economic and reliability of network planning programs is combined in this model.Finally, MATLAB software written in C language is used in power grid planning process. In the planning simulation analysis, a new fuzzy adaptive particle swarm algorithm is applied to solve the mathematical model. Under the condition of radial distribution network and other system grid structures, a contact grid planning is raised, considering the investment efficiency within the whole life cycle.
