Ordinary lead-acid battery charging process control strategy is relatively simple,which will cause the battery overcharge, lead to the reduce of battery life, when usingconstant current charging the current is small, the charge efficient is low, and the chargetime is long. The digital power supply circulate in our country’s market is always justdigital display. The core control system is still analog.In this paper, the research and design of power intelligent charging system forautomotive, mainly to accommodate the following:1. Researched the disadvantages of chargers exist in the market, pointed out theresearch of this paper and the, meanings of this design.2. Researched the charge technologies at home and abroad, digested and absorbed theadvantages of each charge strategies. Used a five-stage charging strategy.3. Designed the main circuit of the system, calculated the theoretical value of somekey components such as filter capacitor, high frequency transformer, filter inductors,schottky diodes, power switching tube, according to the theory of this circuit topology. Andoptimized the components through the actual test.4. In order to reduce the complexity of the circuit, the assist power supply used theTOP-Switch chip of PI Company, and made the output voltage more stable.5. Designed the hardware control circuit in the core of PIC18F66K90chip, such ascurrent sampling, voltage sampling, protect circuit, sound and light alarm and humaninterface and so on. Analysed the source and aftermath of interference, developed thehardware and software anti-jamming technology to make the system get goodelectromagnetic compatibility.6. Introduced some key parts of system debugging, analysis some key waveform.Include the whole paper in the end and propose some further design and research respects, such as add some communication module to this system to detect the work statewith distribute control technology.
