As electronic technology and communication technology’s rapid development, the smart gridconcept began to appear in people’s sight in recent years, in China, smart grid plan (smart gridplan) was first announced by China’s State Grid in2009. The smart grid is the world’s electricityfocus of the industry today, and at the same time it is also the future direction of development ofthe grid technology. Smart grid, by the most advanced sensing and control technology, advanced,stable, high-speed bi-directional network communication technology, and efficient controltechnology and fast and efficient decision-making technology is to achieve grid security,economic, efficient and environmentally friendly goals.Currently, most of high voltage power supply monitoring system, still worded in the field, ithas the risk factor of the high radiation, and the high maintenance costs.At the same time there isa huge danger to the body.This kind of monitoring methord does not comply with thedevelopment trend of smart grid, thefore,this paper is to designe high voltage power remotemonitoring and control system design based on Zigbee technology. We can monitor the highvoltage system’s voltage,current and temperature,and then we can use Zigbee technology totransmitte these parameters to the remonte PC terminals.In the PC terminal,we can monitor thesystem in live to ensure the system security and efficient operation.If an exception occurs,we canreponds promptly and accordingly to avoid accidents.This paper firstly introduces Zigbee wireless technology background, IEEE802.15.4protocolstandards, and the Zigbee protocol stack frame.Through theses above, we become to be familiarwith Zigbee wireless technology and applications.At last we summarize Zigbee wirelesstechnology advantages and illustrate Zigbee technology for measurement and control system.In-depth understanding of Zigbee wireless technology in theory, the paper began to introducethe entire frame of high-voltage power monitoring system based on Zigbee technology, the entiredesign is mainly divided into two parts, hardware modules and software design. Hardware moduledesign, including high voltage control module, high voltage current control module, high voltagepower system control module internal battery charging voltage, high voltage power systemcontrol module internal battery charging current, high-voltage power system chassis temperaturecontrol module and a wireless transmission module design, entire hardware design modulardesign that will give a detailed schematic analyzed and discussed; software design, includessystem modules for data acquisition, system control,improving the accuracy of data collection,data communications, as well as other aspects of the PC interface design, in software design module, part of the source code will be released and given a flow chart to explain the keyprocesses of the system software design.
