Research On Modern Architecture Of Fragrant Hill In Beijing

Beijing Fragrant Hill is an important natural and cultural resort, where the former Jingyi garden sites and the modern architecture of Fragrant hill in Beijing are an important part of its history and culture. The research on modern architecture of Fragrant hill in Beijing is an neglected part of modern architecture study. In this paper, through fieldwork, literature review and mapping survey, the history and architecture types as well as distribution characteristics are discussed first. Then, all the modern architecture(existing or can be traced back to do the basic outline) which are the research objects in this paper are introducted. The two part is the research foundation. Based on the foundation the styles and functional space are deeply studied. Its value is concluded and the proposals are proposed for its conservation and reuse at last.
