Design Strategy Research Of Modern Architecture Reuse In Lushun Taiyanggou

Lushun Taiyanggou is the product from territorial expansion of the rulers in Russian Empire,the blocks of which have presented a strong colonial color after 40 years of Japanese rule on the whole.Wherein more than 300 modern architectures have accumulated rich historic culture and humanistic feelings in the continuous change of the users,meanwhile,their high artistic value endows them with high protection value.However,because 70% of the blocks belong to military properties,the block development is restricted,and a large number of modern architectures fail to adapt to the modern demand of rapid development but face decline and increasing vacancy rate in excessive protection,which damages the whole block style largely.Therefore,it is necessary to seek for a reasonable modern architecture reuse strategy of substance updating and historic character inheritance to solve the currently inappropriate protection mode.This paper consists of four parts:Part ? is introduction.The research background,purpose and significance are expounded,the research content is determined combined with related research overview,that is,the research on the design strategy for the reuse of modern architectures in Lushun Taiyanggou,and the research method and technical route are further proposed.Part ? is related theoretical research on reuse.The situations of architectural heritage protection and reuse at home and abroad are combed,and the existing defects and potential improvement space are summarized.Meanwhile,the necessity of modern architecture reuse is specified through the establishment of theoretical framework thus to provide solid theoretical foundation for further research.Part ? is basic research on the blocks of Taiyanggou and the establishment of strategy system.Based on abstracting the block form characteristics as well as the distribution and value characteristics of modern architectures,the internal logic of block form problems reflecting architecture ontology problems is summarized,the research method of classifying modern architectures into cultural relic protection individual architectures and general annexed architectures is proposed so as to solve different problems in a targeted way and realize overall revitalization of the blocks.Part ? is the research on the design strategy for the cultural relic protection individual architectures and its application as well as the research on the design strategy for the general annexed architectures and its application.The main problems of the cultural relic protection individual architectures are reflected in the aspect of space shaping,therefore,the reuse model of internal space reshaping and external space expansion is proposed,and the trial design of industrial school sites in Lushun is conducted to verify the feasibility of the strategy.The main problems of the general annexed architectures are mainly reflected in the aspect of style shaping,therefore,the reuse model of block space reorganization and architectural form reshaping is proposed,and the trial design of the enclosed blocks of Wanle Street,Wusi Street and Jinbu Street is conducted to verify the feasibility of the strategy.The establishment of the problem-oriented strategy provides classified research methods for the block development so as to offer new research idea and feasible design strategy for the reshaping of Taiyanggou blocks.
