The High Speed EMU was born nearly50years, and it has been widely applied and developed in many countries because of its safety, speediness and comfort. When high-speed EMU runs, it is effected by the aerodynamic, and that puts forward higher requirements for reliability and air-tightness of the EMU’s structure. As an important equipment of EMU, sliding-plug door is commonly fitted on high-speed EMU to meet the strict requirements caused by the aerodynamic effects. The sliding-plug door is the main thoroughfare of passengers when they on or off and when there is a fire disaster which need to evacuate passengers. Therefore, the comfort and safety of taking the train is immediately related to the running status of the sliding-plug door. Thus, it is of vital significance to study the operating condition simulation and fault analysis of side door for high-speed EMU.This thesis regards the side door system of the CRH3EMU as its object. Firstly, there is a pilot study on the side door system structure. Secondly, it studies and analyzes detailedly the principles which control the side door system, for example, the characteristic of its internet control, the relationship of the train speed and the open or close of the door, the technological process of opening and closing the door and the process of extrusion controlling.According to the related circuit diagram, Gas road map and the operating principle of the EMU’s side door system, this thesis builds up the dynamic simulation model of side door system’s drive motor control system, pneumatic system, logic control of DCU, which makes use of MATLAB/Simulink, MATLAB/SimPowerSystem, MATLAB/Sim·Pneumatic and MATLAB/Stateflow. Finally establishes a side door system dynamic simulation mode.For analyzing the operating condition simulation, this thesis mainly used EMU side door system simulation model to simulate the opening process of the EMU side door control system of the vehicle, the closing process and anti-extrusion process. And this thesis also analyzes correspondingly the action, speed of response, the current response under different operational condition.For the fault simulation analysis, this thesis mainly makes a statistical analysis about the daily malfunction of the side door system so as to summary the reason that why the major5malfunctions have happened and the points of malfunction. Using the computer simulation technology, then the thesis conducts a simulation analysis to some typical faults and proposes some appropriate troubleshooting measures.
