Multi stage pumping stations is widely applied to the areas and the areas need the water diversion projects, in the process of running the flow and the head of every pump station is closely related to others, every pump station has different number of units, the long distance water transmission, consumers of the water diversion, etc., make it hard to operation and management. The improper decisions in the practical operation make a lot of energy waste and low efficiency. This problem is taken seriously by many experts, the prospect of optimize the dispatch of multi stage pumping station system and realize the energy saving is very considerable.The Agent theory is introduced to the optimal operation of multi stage pumping stations after expounding the theory of traditional optimal operation. Take the autonomy and harmony of Agent in the system, set up a system based on multiple Agent, to improve the efficiency of the pumping station, reduce energy consumption. The main research content:(1) Introduced the basic theory of multi stage pumping stations and the research status at home and abroad, puts forward the main research content, the overall thought and innovation points of this article according to some problem existed in the course of the multi stage pumping station operation.(2) Introduced the method of optimization scheduling of the multi stage pumping station, the basic thought and Agent theory, and then established the multi stage pumping station optimization scheduling system model based on multiple Agent. The system consists of pump station more Agent subsystem, algorithm Agent subsystem, a management Agent and a communication Agent, the management Agent and communication Agent are used to coordinate the two subsystems to complete the task with each other.(3) Through analyzing the characteristics of the optimal operation of multi stage pumping stations and the characteristics of the communication and coordination of multi Agent system, determine the coordination model of the system and the language of communication. Introduce the communication and coordination of pump station more Agent subsystem and algorithm Agent subsystem, and the internal communication and coordination of various subsystems. And then determine the detailed steps of system to complete the task.(4) Combining multiple Agent theory and genetic algorithm, establish algorithm more Agent subsystem, use parallel micro genetic algorithm to deal with the data. And optimize the history data of a multi stage pumping station. By comparison with the results, this system can effectively reduce the energy consumption, and improved the economic benefit of cascade pumping stations.
