Concrete pump truck as a kind of construction machinery and equipment, within the construction industry has a wide range of applications. With the advancement of national modernization process, concrete pump truck is also put forward more equirements by construction, Concrete pump truck towards the direction of the big arm length, intelligent, efficient development, and the concrete pump truck boom as actuator of concrete structure, the performance of boom structure is also put forward higher requirements. So the performance and stability of the boom structure will directly affect the performance of the vehicle.50、60、75m series of concrete pump truck boom finite element analysis and structure optimization,the work of those pump truck boom have a important effect for this kind of structure.Firstly, finite element modeling of concrete pump truck boom structure and write all condition automatic computing program. Finite element model needs to deal with geometry and finite element grid was divided, given the right unit properties, etc.; All condition calculation program is based on DOS and APDL language, which can realize automatic generating of all conditions, automatic assembling of finite element model, calculating of load, imposing boundary, automatic calculating and extracting the calculation results; through the calculating program can achieve full working condition of the finite element calculation and the result processing.Secondly, the series pump truck boom structure stiffness calculation and the strength calculation based on the ANSYS Program. Linear and nonlinear analysis result’s comparison of strength calculation results, which we found that the strength of nonlinear calculation results can detect the boom frame plate stress fold phenomenon, we can put a qualitative conclusions of the boom structure calculations; The above three pump truck booms are RZ hybrid long boom frame structure, and all have more than one arms stress fold phenomenon in nonlinear stiffness calculation, so that the stress folding phenomenon is widely exists in this type concrete pump truck boom structure; Comprehensive comparison of boom structure nonlinear static strength calculation largest stress result with boom deformation horizontal condition nonlinear static strength calculation stress result, series of booms deformation horizontal condition are the most dangerous conditions, Above these work has a guiding role for the future calculation of concrete pump truck boom. Thirdly, aimming at stress fold for parts of the boom section, Compared the load-relative displacement deformation figure, Draw a conclusion is that the are of stress fold is plate buckling. With researching of the buckling problem for this kind of structure, to determine the final structure buckling strengthening scheme, in order to eliminate the boom section buckling phenomenon, avoid structure damage, Through the computation the final structure buckling strengthening scheme, in order to ensure the feasibility of strengthening scheme. Above these work has a guiding role for the future concrete pump truck boom structure design.Lastly, put the50m pump truck boom structure as an example, it is optimized based on OptiStruct, its size optimization scheme realized the boom structure weight150kg of lightweight goals, Optimized scheme for stiffness, strength calculation based on the ANSYS to check the correctness and feasibility of optimized scheme, analyzing with the calculation results, the size optimization scheme of the boom structure not only lightweight but also implements the stiffness deformation decrease and strength performance improvement, the optimization of this concrete pump truck boom structure for the future Concrete pump truck boom structure optimization provides guidance.
