Truck-mounted concrete pump is a kind of construction machinery with functionsof concrete transmission, conveyor and pouring, which is an indispensable engineeringmachine for modern infrastructure construction. As the core part of truck-mountedconcrete pump, boom-system is the main assessment target for its performanceevaluation.With such trends of truck-mounted concrete pump as long boom, large discharge,energy efficient and high performance, the vibration analysis research on boom-systemhas become a very important part and development trend in the study of vibrationattenuation for truck-mounted concrete pump.Relevant vibration research of boom-system in truck-mounted concrete pumpincludes that development of new materials for boom structure, study of dynamicssimulation, the finite element parametric analysis design, the intelligent coordinationcontrol for boom-system, etc.Based on the research on vibration of boom-system at home and abroad, CAEtechnology like Pro/E, HyperMesh and Ansys is applied on a certain type of45mtruck-mounted concrete pump for the purpose of analysis and optimization of dynamiccharacteristics of the boom structure. Analysis and optimization of dynamicperformance and research of vibration reduction for boom-system at working conditionof all reach level is carried out. The main work and results are as follows:①After looking up a large number of literatures on vibration research ofboom-system, that the general development situation, development trend and thepresent situation of relevant research at home and abroad for truck-mounted concretepump is presented, including main research work and the significance of this subject.②Establishing finite element model for boom-system of truck-mounted concretepump, the structural static strength analysis has been carried on according to theboundary conditions of pumping operations and working load. Based on analyzing thestress distribution of boom-system, we not only have attained the danger zone of eachboom or part of boom-system, and stress distribution and deformation condition underthis working condition, but also investigate the causes and solution for local stressconcentration. This work is a good reference for optimization of structure for theboom-system and the study of vibration Attenuation at subsequent chapters. ③Based on basic theory of dynamics modal analysis, the modal analysis forboom-system of truck-mounted concrete pump at the condition of fully stretched levelis carried out; the distribution range of the natural frequency of the boom-system underthis working condition and the vibration condition of each boom lay a foundation forstudy on optimization of structural dynamic characteristics of boom-system.④Based on the statics and dynamics analysis results of boom-system, drafts ofchanging the thickness of boom plates are proposed to improve the low order naturalfrequency of boom-system structure and reduce vibration condition of the wholeboom-system. After FEA of each model, we can tell whether the best scheme isachieved by observation of time history changes in the displacement, velocity andacceleration of the node at the end of the boom-system.
