Owing to superior performance, high efficiency and good maneuverability,Concrete pump truck plays irreplaceable role in many areas of modernizationconstruction. With the development of modern construction, concrete pump truckhave been unable to meet the need of height, so the trend that concrete pump truckbooms to longer and higher will become inevitable. Traditional concrete pump truckis made by high strength alloy steel, and high strength alloy steel has serious defectsin welding, at the same time, its boom is made of metal material, so its weight is quitelarge, it has significant limitations in the safety of the concrete pump truckperformance and the working area. Carbon fiber composite materials have highstrength and light weight in a certain direction and other advantages. This paperstudies the feasibility of carbon fiber composite material used in the carbon fiber armshelf, in addition, the structure, strength and fatigue performance of boom has beencarried on the calculation, simulation and experiment.The concrete pump truck load is very complex in the working process, rotaryinertia force will be produced in the process of boom rotation, at the same time, thereis dynamic load in the concrete conveying process, the environmental impact of windload will also have additional bending moment on the boom. So this article firstanalyzes the load form of boom and puts forward the theoretical calculation formulaof stress calculation in the most dangerous working condition, then provides premisefor the design of the analysis of the carbon fiber boom behind.The of the carbon fiber boom is in a complex alternating stress for a long time, ifall boom ends are designed by carbon fiber material, the fatigue property of the boom ends will not be able to meet the requirements. So the carbon fiber arm frame willbe designed into two parts in this article. The first part is the carbon fiber arm frame beam structure, in this part, it is designed and analyzed by pure carbon fiber, it turns out that it meets the requirements of strength and stiffness when the layer depth is15layers and layer angle is [0/0/45/0/0/0/0/0/0/0/0/45/0-45/0/]. The second part is the structure of the boom end, it is designed by using a metal double to the structure of carbonfiber reinforced layer, in this way, it not only improves the fatigue performance of the boom ends, but also reduces the weight of the carbon fiber. At last, the specific parameters of the boom end structure was determined by the finite element analysis and theoretical calculation.In this article, the carbon fiber arm frame beam and the end of the arm framestructure are bond together, and the glue joint form is like the ladder lap. The laplength and the number of steps are computed through the theoretic calculation, andcheck through the rubber shear strength. In this paper, the final design of the structureof the carbon fiber boom strength and stiffness satisfy the design requirements.Greatly reduce the boom weight, and improve the fatigue performance of the boom.
