The Intelligent Lighting Control System Based On LED And DALI Protocol

With the rapid development of science and technology, and the gradualimprovement of the people demand, people started to pursue more fashionable,efficient and intelligent lighting control mode. At the same time, represented by theLED green energy-saving products, with its energy conservation and environmentalprotection, long service life and the characteristics of rich colors, gradually becomethe development trend of direction in the field of lighting. And in the field ofintelligent lighting control, the lack of communication standards makes it hard forbetween different systems and products integration, maintenance and management,seriously hindered the development of intelligent lighting control. Therefore, theresearch and development of LED intelligent lighting control system technologies hasa special significance to the development of lighting control standards and promotethe popularization of new intelligence-related products.This article is based on DALI (Digital Addressable Lighting Interface) protocolof LED intelligent Lighting control system. The intelligent lighting control systemwith a combination of the new type of LED lighting produces, meanwhile usinginternational popular communication standards, which is particularly suitable forsmall and medium-sized places to use, and can also be used as a control system ofother subsystems to it. Research and design of the lighting control system alsoprovides reference for the development of this type of system.This article introduces the background, significance and the development statusand trends at home and abroad of intelligent control systems, and also introducesseveral popular international communications standards or protocols in the field oflighting control system. The article especially introduces the knowledge of DALIcommunication standards. Then, this article introduces the master controller and theslave controller, including the function and design process of the hardware devicesand software programs. The article also make a detail introduction to the key modulesof the devices. Finally, in view of the whole circuit and communication requirements,the article also include a PC lighting control software. Through the bus equipment, thelighting control system can perform the dimming, scene switching, status query andparameter settings, and so on. After the completion of the entire system, the system components and entiresystem was tested. The results show that the system design is reasonable, the relevantoutput results meet the communication requirements, and the system meet the initialgoal of the requirements. At the end of the article, according to the design anddebugging process of the whole system, the article pointed out the aspects which needto make a improvement, and connecting with the practice, personal views have putforward for this type of research and development system.
