The subway as a common public transportation tools because of its energy saving, large capacity, fast speed the underground tunnel not occupying the city land and space, has great application in high population density city. In the first50’s century, many countries around the world having a great boom in building Metro. However the subway mileage increasing and continuous improvement of operation speed, wheel wearing is seen widely occurred, The abnormal wear of wheel tread does great harm to the normal operation of the subway, which directly affects the dynamic performance of the vehicle systems such as driving stability, security and stability, at the same time the wheels turning repair etc. will increase operating costs. The wheel wear study is of great significance to insure the vehicle reliability, operation safety and reduce transportation costs. Tread wear problem should be studied immediately for railway research.The50degrees of freedom nonclear dynamic model with one body, two bogie and four wheel,8box body of total15rigid body was built.Metro vehicle in different radius curve lines (including straight line) to run the same distance (10km) generated wear depth of each wheel and wear position was analyzed. Analysis rolling circle abrasion cause reason and research the tread wear process on the line as well as in the different depth of the wearwear measure the wear volume once on the line to forecast the impact of different width and depth of the wear abrasion of vehicle dynamics. Results show that the equivalent taper weel become larger with the increase of wear depth which leads to the stability and stationery decrease. Therefore when the wear depth reaches a certain value, the operation speed should be reduced or tread should be reshaped to meet the requirement of stability and ride comfort. The effects of a few bogie parameters on wheel tread wear were discussed, including hardness, rotating arm longitudinal stiffness, roating arm lateral stiffness, vertical positioning stiffness, lateral positioning stiffness, anti rolling torsion bar stiffness, wheelbase. The results show that, wheel tread wearing reduce with hardness stiffness, wheel tread wearing becomes larger with the increase of rotating arm longitudinal positioning and lateral positioning stiffness; vertical positioning stiffness, lateral positioning stiffness has little effect on the wheel wear, and mainly in straight line. Tread wear depth slightly increased with the increase of vertical positioning stiffness and lateral positioning stiffness on straight line. On curve line with the wheelbase increased wheel tread wear depth increases and the wear tread not obvious on straight load case.
