Rural Land Use Classification Research Based On Urban-rural Planning

The classification of land utilization, which is an indispensable and significant method of village planning, as basic work methods and techniques of controlling land utilization and coordinating the diversity utilization of land, runs through the whole process of city planning, from basic investigation, planning compilation to the approval and management of land. Therefore, in order to accommodate the need of utilizing urban-rural integration as guidance of urban-rural harmonious development in our country, and to realize the sustainable development of land utilization in rural area, classification of land utilization in rural area confronts the new need and challenge, and it should accelerate the pace of change. For all these reasons, the author makes classification of rural land utilization in rural-urban integration as the topic of this thesis.In the beginning of this thesis, the author studies the classification of land utilization in "the standard of town planning"(GB50188-93), which is the only standard in our nation for systemic elaborating the village planning, and also takes some research of rural land utilization in "the standard of city land classification and the planning of land utilization" and "current classification of land utilization". By analyzing, comparison and summarizing of all the information, the thesis elaborates the shortcomings in "the standard of town planning" and the necessity of standard of classification of rural land utilization. Meanwhile, according to the research in classification of rural land utilization in England, Canada and Hong Kong, the thesis summarizes the experience in developed countries for founding the classification of rural land utilization.As a national coordinating urban-rural comprehensive reform pilot area and the pilot city of new socialist rural construction of our nation, Chengdu is a typical dualistic structure, which is a big city with a large rural area. It contains many different landform villages, such as plain region, hill region and mountainous region. This thesis selects villages around Chengdu as the research objects, for they are typical and representative. By the analyzing of village planning of village around Chengdu, the article summarizes the existing problems in classification of rural land utilization. By comparison of urban area, the major people of rural area are peasants, who live there and have a distinctive lifestyle from citizens. For these reasons, the planning of rural land utilization should be considered based on country life, to which the classification of rural land utilization should be according. For now the deep change in rural area, which is brought by the development of production technology and the guidance of the government, tradition country culture conflicts with the modern land utilization. It is also a purpose of this thesis to solve the problems.Based on the research upon and the need of development of times, considering the realistic situation of China and its policies, using the experience of developed countries for references, on account of trend of development of rural-urban integration, the thesis makes clear of the goal, principles and thinking of classification of rural land utilization, and comes up with a brand new method for it.
