After six big speed increase of China’s railway, the level of hardware facilities has been significantly improved, but the matching passenger information service system is relatively lagging behind. Currently the vast majority of media terminals on railway train is unidirectional broadcast system, and basically is a form of print magazine, which leads to passengers can only sleep or read in the process of boring trip. Based on the fact of train customer service levels are relatively low, and the point of "The essential attribute of railway is service", which put forward by Guangzu Sheng on the meeting in2011, researching and developing the vehicle-mounted mobile information service platform with interactive features and fitness is imminent.Based on the requirement of railway passenger information services, this paper designs the train vehicle-mounted mobile information service platform which include the function of management, service, monitoring and entertainment. At the same time, adding the Helper tool on the basis of the platform and realizing the reservation function.This paper uses survey method to analyze the vehicle-mounted mobile information service, analyzing the functional requirements of passenger service system, passenger competent department management system, entertainment management systems and platform management system in detail. And designs application function of the platform, mainly including the train reservation, video and music on demand, e-books, press release, advertising release, train schedules, punctual and delaying information release, games, monitoring, etc. Using the system analysis and functional analysis methods, this paper develops a vehicle-mounted mobile information service platform, mainly including overall design, the layout of the hardware, software architecture, software function, operation management model, platform technology route, platform performance, application platform function and interface design. For the maintenance of the late application software function, this paper using the exploratory research method designs and develops the public method to call visualization tool Helper and the interface API, which make the external bring into the Helper toolkit conveniently, both can enhance the maintainability of the platform. Based on the vehicle-mounted mobile information service platform, this paper chooses the reservation function of platform application cases for researching and developing. On the basic of function analysis of the client and server, this paper uses case study method to realize the train reservation system based on the Android.
