With economic development, people’s living standards improve, and heating and air conditioning is becoming increasingly popular, residential building energy consumption accounts for the proportion of total building energy consumption is rising year by year, how to reduce residential energy consumption has become an important research topic. At this stage of the study focused primarily on residential energy on improving the performance of air-conditioning equipment and building envelope thermal performance. However, through the research activities of daily living habits of the residents found significant differences in housing consumption is largely due to residents indoor equipment to adjust and control the behavior of different ways. In this paper, through the methods of questionnaire survey, energy simulation and experimental testing, analyze the saving energy behavior for Chengdu residents, putting forward rational behavior for the daily life of residents in Chengdu.Through the use of electrical equipment behavior questionnaire residents in Chengdu research methods to analyze the residents’ daily life electrical equipment differences in behavior and its influencing factors.Chengdu residents cool in summer using different ways to adjust the indoor comfort, a questionnaire survey, analyzed the correlation between the different cooling behavior and use of the outdoor temperature, the initial establishment of the summer residents and window behavior mathematical model of the relationship between the outdoor temperature. Through experimental testing methods to analyze the impact of windows open for ventilation, cooling fans and air conditioning are three ways for indoor comfort and energy consumption levels presented in summer suitable time for different cooling methods.Residents air conditioning usage behavior research results show that residents of air conditioning use behavior differences, through EnergyPlus analyzes the level of energy consumption and indoor comfort in different seasons, different units and different behavior under the use of air conditioning, puts forward the reasonable use of air conditioning.Through the measurement of electrical equipment use behavior, put forward the reasonable way of using different electrical equipment, and formulate the corresponding energy saving brochures.
