Urban land consolidation is an important methods, it is used to solve the problem of the urban land resource scarcity, and promoting the sustainable utilization of the land. Due to the work of the urban land consolidation in China starts relatively late, and basic condition is not good. China’s urban land management operation mechanism, system guarantee and benefit evaluation study is less, such as urban land management work still exists many shortcomings. Investigate its reason, not only the legal system is not perfect, and the organization’s management efficiency is very low. How to promote land use efficiency and obtain the optimal mainland city land management comprehensive benefits and other issues need to be further research and discussion, and also need to learn from the advanced experience of developed countries or regions to shorten the process of exploringThese problems have appeared in the urban land consolidation (the urban land readjustment) of Taiwan. However, the urban land readjustment of Taiwan began to an earlier time than China, and has explored a lot of solution to solve the problem. Moreover, the urban land readjustment of Taiwan also established a rich, detailed and operational legal system, and formed a comprehensive system of redrawing. The author made a systematic analysis of the policy evolution course, system characteristics, organization and management system and development mechanism.
