We have entered the21st century in our country for many years. The rapideconomic development and the people’s living standards have been greatly improved.Especially in rural areas, in the case of fast-growing economy has obtained anunprecedented development. The construction of several basic rural facilities, suchas the erection of the grid, also has been basically completed,which achieve acomprehensive nationwide supply of electricity.On rural electricity voltage requirements are generally not high, mainlymaintained between220V-380V. However, when the output voltage of electricity isvery high, you must use the voltage converter when you need to use a transformer,which is one of the most important in the rural distribution of an electrical device.Applied to the grid in rural areas are generally high voltage transformer into alow-voltage transformer. To obtain a lower voltage device data is such dangerous.But the current situation for general operations or rely on manual data has completed.And sometimes due to the negligence or artificial flaws will cause the data on thegrid which can not timely grasp of the situation of stagnation or even aproblem.There is no comprehensive data collection, so the representation has nothigh regard. Currently, the modes in the distribution of rural power grids has notapplied, especially in the security and reliability of the distribution. A complete set ofdata can be established for remote monitoring system is already overwhelming.The establishment of such a remote monitoring system in rural power griddistribution voltage, you can automate the collection of information and data in largepart, which can avoid the risk of manual errors and bring to the operator. On thetransformer maintenance workload will greatly reduce.And it also can improveefficiency, reduce costs, and improve security grid operation. The research of this paper is about the fundamental characteristics of the ruraldistribution network,which can use as a prerequisite, as is proposed in GPRS-basedremote monitoring system. The monitoring system, the Internet and wirelesscommunication technology, the propagation speed of real-time monitoring anddetection information have reached a very high level. The integral part of themonitoring system is mainly about the monitoring terminal of the transformer in TTU,the composing of GPRS module for monitoring computer and mobile phonemanagement, Ad Hoc routing, terminals and gateways, etc.. In the course of thismonitoring system has a great advantage, especially in reducing the cost has a verysignificant effect. For example, the communication costs can greatly reduce thecost of the process and it also can reduce the amount usage rate of hardware, reducethe capital investment.The monitoring system in the software system architecture model can use the C/S mode and the design process is modular design. It has the functions of remotingreal-time monitoring, data collection, statistics, analysis, query, and the system ’s ownmanagement.
