Expression Of Regional Culture In Urban Park

As the economic and urbanization gradually high-developing for several years, theenvironment of historical culture survival is being increasingly eroded in China. Manyanalogous skyscrapers in cities strongly impact on the local culture which lead historicalculture is being gradually forgotten. Similar urban construction, environmental pollutionand ecological imbalance are coming up to seriously challenge the reservation of regionalfeatures in the city development.Urban park is the carrier of culture and civilization, it is a concentration city regionalculture. It also allows people to learn about the city’s inner spirit, history, culture, customs,and then understand the culture of this city. But faced with the impact of globalization，there is a clearly similarity for urban park, and it lost the lasting vitality because of the lackof regional cultural characteristics. Thus, at the right moment, it is a very urgent problem inwhich how to combine the city park landscape design and park landscape local culturewell.In the present thesis we summarized the problems of the urban park design. Topreliminary analysis the design of urban parks，take Taiyuan Fen He Park as an example,local natural environmental factors and historical cultural factors were considered.Furthermore, the thesis attempts to find a way of how to express regional features, and takea positive reference value for designing regional featured urban park.
