With the development of automotive technology, the vehicle model update frequencyis increasing.It is very import to design the vehicle frame.the engineer should design theframe in standards in short time.The finite element analysis is a kind of fast and effectivemodern engineering design tools, it has been widely used in the frame design, The frame asan important component of the BIW, is the main bearing parts. Because various loadeventually passed to the frame, frame design quality directly affects the frame safety factor,welding quality also directly affects the vehicle frame quality.This paper mainly analysis the frame stress and deformation in different condition andanalysis the mode without the constrained condition.Though the analysis, we will test theframe quality.Optimize the frame on the statical condition and mode condition. Byanalyzing data of the result, the relationship of the thickness and inherent frequency isderived to guid design and optimize the frame And then design the welding fixture for thebeam and flat part. Build frame model based on3D software, analyze the frame structureby ANSYS. With the result of the analysis of frame static analysis and modal analysis itcan be concluded that the maximum stress and deformation of the frame and modalfrequency to determine the safety of the frame by data analysis and contrast. Analogyframe analogy into the spring oscillator, deduced the relationship between naturalfrequency and thickness. Though the analysis and contrast data analogy frame into thespring oscillator to ensure the relationship of the thickness and inherent frequency. Designthe frame welding clamp with analysis the fixture type, function, characteristic. Design thewelding clamp structure though select the anchor point clamping point and clampingdevice. Modeling the welding clamp based on3D software and analysis the stress anddeformation of the part to ensure the clamping scheme.
