Solar electric complementary LED street light system is mainly composed of solar panels, mains supply, controller, batteries, LED light source, light pole and other main components. Solar energy and commercial power complement each other for charging the batteries, and batteries energy can guarantee the normal work of the LED street lamp provided needs. The controller controls the time of electric supply cutting in and out and LED lighting load turning on or off, therefore, the reliability of controller relates to the reliability of whole street lighting system running.This task use the design of LED road lamps which loading in a collector road in Fuzhou area as an example,designed a new kind of Solar electric complementary LED street light system, which system controller can realize the following functions:(1) The solar panel output voltage rating to charge the batteries:in the output voltage level is high, solar panels charge the battery directly; in the output voltage level is medium, solar panels through the boost circuit to charge the battery; in the output voltage level is low and the batteries terminal voltage lower than a certain value, connecting the mains, electric charge batteries by current mode which with a stepping control. This project makes full use of solar energy resources, while increasing the working life of the batteries.(2) The timing circuit which is constituted by clock chip DS1302and main control chip STC89C52complete the time measurement, and either closing or switching off the LED lights branch at a particular time to balance the light luminous decay.(3) The booster circuit composed by SG3525raise the batteries terminal voltage to a constant value to drive the LED lights, achieving the purpose of constant voltage driving LED lights, improving the working life of LED lamps and luminous efficiency.This paper hold a discussion about the mechanical structure design, especially the wind resistance design on the street lamp, and complete the wind resistance calculate of the bracket and the lamp post.This topic carries on a detailed analysis to various of the batteries anti-theft scheme currently on the market and points out the existing problems. Meanwhile, puts forward a new batteries anti-theft device, which combines mechanical alarm and electronic alarm approach.While achieving low cost, low maintenance difficulty,can be in situ alarm, which can effectively prevent unruly elements from theft.
