Plant Landscape Case Analysis Of Beijing Botanical Garden

Plant is one of the most important element in the landscape, plant landscape is animportant part of landscape. In recent years, with the social progress, people’s living standardsimprovement and the transformation of the aesthetic idea, plant landscaping is flourishing, itshoulder the desire of more and more people who are longing for a harmonious livingenvironment.This paper chose10plant landscape sample areas and intensively studied the plantlandscape status of the botanical gardens in Beijing through the methods of field research,literature review and comprehensive analysis. The main research results are as follows:1. After investigation, there are a total of60kinds of plant species in the10sample areas,in which involving30families of plant, with45kinds of perennials and15kinds of biennials.In general, the plant species in the sample area are relatively small, the plant material in plantlandscape need to be enriched. In the sample areas, native tree species are commonly used, theratio of evergreen trees to deciduous trees and trees to shrubs are relatively reasonable. Theapplication of colour-leaved trees and flowering shrubs is quite common. The use of perennialherbs is rather lacking. Introduced plants and cultivated plants also can be found in the sampleareas.2. Analyze the plant landscape characteristics of the10sample areas from the ecologicalbeauty and artistic beauty, time and space beauty and connotation beauty. The plant landscapein10sample areas use various landscaping technique, it combines different landscape elementsand presents the different characteristics of plant landscape.3. Set up the AHP fuzzy evaluation model of Beijing botanical garden plant landscapeevaluation by using analytic hierarchy process (AHP) and fuzzy evaluation method, calculatedthe comprehensive evaluation index of10sample areas. Further clarified the present situationof the Beijing botanical garden plant landscape on the basis of sample investigation, whichpointed out the direction for development of plant landscape. 4. Summarized the Beijing botanical garden plant landscape characteristics, which mainlyembodied in various forms of plant landscaping, varied expression techniques, closelycombining with other landscape elements and simulating the natural communities.5. Analyzed the trend of the Beijing botanical garden plant landscape development, whichmainly embodied in enriching the plant species of plant landscape, developing from greeningto coloring and to aromatization, from dominant artistry to the combination of artistry andecosystem, and creating stable plant landscape while reducing artificial intervention.
