As the core part of the smart grid, intelligent substation is the foundation of smart grid’security and stability. The measurement, control and protection devices as a key equipment of the smart grid plays a vital role. Especially the application of electronic instrument transformer in intelligent substation, the method of analog sampling directly and data processing are changed in conventional measurement, control and protection devices. So researching the data receiving and processing method of new type measurement, control and protection devices for intelligent substation has important practical significance.SMV Receiving Circuit Board to receive and process data is an important part of the measurement, control and protection devices. It is responsible for receiving and parsing the digital sampling data from Merging Unit, and interpolation synchronization; Because measurement, control and protection devices may receive the sampling data of multiple Merging Units, there is a large amount of information. So this paper adopts FPGA which can process the sampling data quickly. This design can efficiently avoid the protection mal-operation caused by processing data not in time.Because of line transmission delay, data processing time’difference of Merging Unit and so on, sampling data received by the measurement, control and protection devices are not always at the same moment. Especially busbar protection and differential protection need voltage and current data of multiple bay-layer. It must ensure that sampling data of every channel is at the same moment before substituting the protecting algorithm formula to avoid the protection mal-operation. To solve data Synchronization, this paper adopts linear Lagrange interpolation algorithm.On the basis of the architecture of intelligent substation and IEC61850in this dissertation, this paper analyzed the advantages of sampling value transmission standard IEC61850-9-2especially. Then, linear Lagrange interpolation algorithm is adopted to solve data Synchronization and simulated by MATLAB. The simulation results verify the effectiveness of the method. Finally, it is introduced in detail that software and hardware design of receiving and processing sampling data; It includes the hardware design of SMV receiving circuit board and software design of data receiving module and interpolation synchronization; Through the Analysis of various performance tests, this system can rapidly complete the function of data receiving and processing and performance is well.
