The flood disaster is a serious natural disaster which could cause serious consequences.With the flood frequency and intensity increase, the higher control request is put forward. The success of city flood control system construction directly relates to the city’s economic development and residents’ personal safety. In view of the low level of monitoring and early warning and the work demand of Zhangjiagang dike flood control engineering,the early warning system for real-time safety monitoring of Zhangjiagang city control flood engineering construction projects must be carry out. Combined with the status quo of Yangtze river embankment flood control engineering. This project determine suitable monitoring parameters and the early warning alert value of Zhangjiagang dike flood control works and design suitable monitoring system and early warning system,then build early warning system for real-time monitoring by using GPRS, data post-processing and early warning and forecasting technology. Carrying out the early warning system for real-time safety monitoring of Zhangjiagang flood control engineering research have higher practical value and research significance, not only provide the technical support for the flood control engineering,but also make up for the deficiency of the dike flood control engineering monitoring and early warning technology in China.The research contents are as follows:1. According to current situation of Zhangjiagang city dike flood control engineering, on the basis of monitoring technology specification and standard, combining with similar engineering experience,this research select water level, seepage pressure, horizontal displacement and earth pressure of four monitoring parameters as the key to the early warning system for real-time monitoring,and determine the early warning indicators of each parameter according to the national and local related regulations.2. According to parameters and indicators of real-time monitor of Zhangjiagang city dike flood control engineering, this research design flood warning system which implement the information collection, information transmission, flood warning.3. Choosing yigan river and changsha river two Yangtze river be typical monitoring sections,this research would carry out dike monitoring section construction, complete the system construction work such as sensors buried, data acquisition instrument and analysis results and forecast the early warning effect based on the monitoring data through five months continuous monitoring test.
