Rain garden as urban rain flood managem ent system is one of the effective means of implementation, in the treatment of urban surface runoff, collecting rainwater, purify rain, help rainwater infiltration underground to return to the natural water cycle, etc all can play a good function.This paper studies the rain garden design principle, design method and construction techn olo gy, The function, characteristics and value of the rain garden research and analysis of the s yst em, and from the Angle of urban green space system classification summarized the rain garden applic ation direction.
