Since the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued the "Technical Guide for Construction of Sponge City-Construction of Low-impact Development Rainwater System(Trial)" in November 2014,China's sponge city construction has entered a period of rapid development.So far,three batches of 30 cities have become sponge city construction pilots.The construction of the sponge city also revealed some problems.The lack of public participation led citizens to question the effectiveness of the sponge city and hindered its promotion,which has become the biggest obstacle to the construction of the sponge city.The realization of public participation depends on public missions.As an important non-engineering measure of sponge cities,public missions have formed a relatively complete system in the United States,Switzerland,and other countries,providing citizens with a way to recognize sponge cities.The development of public propaganda and education in China's sponge city is slow,and the road ahead is long and obstructive.College students are the basic force for the future construction of the country,and ecological missionary education for college students is an important way to realize the construction of ecological civilization.The campus rainwater garden expresses the rainwater ecology by visualizing the rainwater path,shows the complex process of the rainwater cycle,the working principle and function of low-impact technical measures,and is a powerful tool for the sponge city missionary education for college students.Ecological education is an important function of rainwater gardens.This article is based on the ecological recognition effect of Beijing college students in the completed campus rainwater gardens,and conducts research on the design strategies of rainwater gardens in colleges and universities.In this paper,through the study of the related theories of ecological cognition and spatial cognition,the ecological cognition framework of rainwater garden is constructed from three aspects: the expression of ecological cognition in the rainwater garden,the psychological behavior characteristics of the cognitive subject and the constitution of the cognitive environment of the rainwater garden..Combined with the field investigation on the construction of rainwater gardens in 7 universities in Beijing,an ecological cognitive effect evaluation factor set was constructed,which was divided into12 groups from the perspective of spatial feature ecological cognitive elements,spatial object ecological cognitive elements and spatial symbol ecological cognitive elements,A total of 38 factors.Four of these colleges and universities rainwater gardens were selected as sample points to issue questionnaires.The IPA analysis method was used to study the ecological cognitive effects of spatial features.From the perspective of ecological aesthetics,rainwater knowledge,and ecological morality,the ecology of spatial objects was studied Cognitive effect,using the satisfaction analysis method to study the ecological cognitive effect of spatial symbol elements.According to the analysis of the survey results,from the three perspectives of spatial ecology visualization optimization,low-impact development technical measures optimization and ecological missionary facilities optimization,the rainwater garden design strategy for colleges and universities is proposed,which provides ideas for the ecological cognition-oriented rainwater garden design.A strategic response was made in the form of the scheme design of the rainwater garden of the University Information Center.
