With "Beautiful China" concept of development and construction of the newurbanization concept put forward to achieve a low-carbon, green, sustainable urbandevelopment has become an important task facing our country. However, with therapid development of urbanization, the increasing rate of urban impervious surfaces,coupled with people’s ideas for stormwater drainage and utilization lag, resulting infrequent flooding problems. The rain gardens as part of the green infrastructure, whilethe response of the "green city","eco-city" and "low-carbon city" concept ofdevelopment, on the other hand provides a new way to tune the rain by Green, tosolve the city rainwater frequent questions raised systemic response.Firstly, the background to the new urbanization rains flood low-carbon lifestyleissues as well as a green background, the status quo rain garden development at homeand abroad collate, clear the rain garden concepts proposed by the planning anddesign of rain gardens The applied research, so the landscape, urban planning andrainwater utilization fused together design ideas, instead of the traditionalrow-oriented urban development to the flood thought.Secondly, the article from the design principles, site settings, constructionmanagement and maintenance requirements and other aspects, describes thesystematic construction of the rain garden design in the planning, clear the rain gardenconstruction standards and principles related requirements. On this basis, from urbanplanning and design angles, systems analysis, including building roofs, public greenspaces, plazas paving and urban roads combined with the application of urban spaceand rain gardens, to a certain extent, to achieve a level of rain garden design andplanning integration, the role of the landscape through the use of water seepage weregreen stormwater control and management of distributed, to alleviate urban floodproblems, rich urban green biomass and urban ecological environment protectionpurposes.Furthermore, the article reference case Zhumadian stone village planning newcommunities, specifically analyzes the ecological stormwater facilities planningstrategy will rain garden design and planning to synchronize unified consideration.Accordingly this paper to SWMM modeling software widely used worldwide as aplatform to construct a new residential community garden and parking courtyard raingarden ecosystem model, this article provides empirical research.
