China is the area that has the most extensive distribution and the richest germplasms of wild soybean. Now, there were more than8,500acdessions of wild soybean germplasms have been collected in China, wild soybean has the extensive distribution in our country, making it from different ecological types which meets different environmental conditions and have abundant hereditary variation. By investiagation and analysis104sampling place in22different kind of ecosystem,we knew Glycine soja germplasms had the traits of wide distribution, mult-types, various small ecological surrounding types and rich genetic diversity in Jiangsu province. In this study, wild soybean germplasms of Jiangsu province were investigated, collected and cleand up to definitude the geographical distribution of wild soybean germplasms. The result were as follows:1.The area of Jiansu province wild soybean has53species of advanced plants belonging to46genera in17families. The flora17families can be divided into3types and the species can divided into9types from the points of floristic elements of seed plants。 The niche bredth and niche overlap of19species in wild soybean community were studied, hop, aster, bristlegrass herb, alligator alternanthera has the widest niche bredth, while the niche bredth of hispid arthraxon, sticktight, nightshade, daghestan sweet clover was low. The niche overlap value is large, sharing trend is obvious, the largest overlap is between bulrush and cattail.2. twenty-two natural populations of210wild soybean collected in Jiangsu thirteen morphological traits were investigated.The result showed that the variation of the quantitative traits was large within the populations. The CV value was between10%-49.54%, with the average of26.68%, thirteen morphology mean relative extreme is47.07, with the range between35.05%-52.57%. 3. The genetic diversity indexes of Shannon-Weaver and Simpson were1.1444and0.5502respectively. It showed that the genetic diversity of wild soybean in Jiansu was very high.4. According to the UPGMA cluster analysis, the22populations of Jiangsu province could be divided in three groups.5. The genetic diversity of22collected wild soybean materials from Jiangsu province was alanlyzed by SSR and cluster analysis with the UPGMA method.83polymorphic bands was amplified by17paris of SSR primers which seleced from40primers with an average4.94, with the polymorphic ratio was76.78%, Index showed that distribution of Shannon-Weaver index was0.6191-2.4061and mean1.6675, and distribution of Simpson index was0.6438-0.8580and mean0.7440, By usring the dendrogram analysis,22materical were separated into5major groups at DNA level.
