Fifteen table grape varieties:WH11-23, WH11-24, WH11-25introduced from America;WH11-26introduced from Australia; WH11-31, WH11-32, WH11-33, WH11-34, WH11-35,WH11-36, WH11-37,WH11-38,WH11-39,WH11-40,WH11-41introduced from Japan werecultured in2011in Yangling. All the vines were planted in greenhouse. The phenologicalphase, botanical traits, economic properties, the quality of berries and disease resistance ofthese fifteen varieties were investigated in order to offer some preliminary scientific supportsfor the table grape introduction and selection.The main results showed as follows:1. In the climate of Yangling, the bud break stage of fifteen varieties were duringmid-February. The blooming stage of eight varieties which bloomed were during the mid tolate April. Five varieties which were setting fruit belonged to late maturity varieties or verylate-maturity varieties. For the six fruit-setted varieties, WH11-39was with the earliestmatured date and WH11-35matured latest.2. As for the botanical characters, there were some differences between15species ofyoung shoots, leaves, shoots traits, matured leaf traits. Three varieties are the red varieties, theother three cultivars were white ones. For the character of fruit, the cluster weight ofWH11-33was the highest, the mean weight was more than300g.The cluster weight of otherswere between70-250g.3. As growth habit of vine as concerned, the growth potential of all varieties was strong.The germination rate of all varieties of was more than60%. That of WH11-39reached to100%. The percentage of fruiting branches was obviously different among the introducedcultivars. WH11-34, WH11-35, WH11-39reached to100%. However,WH11-31was only27%. In total, WH11-39performed best, followed by WH11-33.4. Fruit quality in terms of four of six varieties neat ears, size between10-15cmWH11-33ears, to20cm, ear traits of the best, followed by WH11-39. WH11-41, WH11-33two kinds of fruit shape is unique. The three varieties was of special aroma, aroma of the other three varieties was no or mild. These two varieties of seedless varieties, and the otherfour varieties seeds containing1-3. WH11-35crisp meat, other varieties of soft meat.5. In sunlight greenhouse, downy mildew is main disease. It was found that there are twovarieties resistance to downy mildew, no infection. all varieties compared with the controlvarieties resistance to downy mildew resistance stronger.Introduction of15varieties had certain difference, WH11-33and WH11-39two varietieshave good performance in the second year of engraftment, other varieties had stronger growth,results habit still need further research to determine.
