Along with the rising of living standards, peoples’ demands for agricultural products are also increasing, mainly focusing on the demand for anti-season crops and ornamental flowers. Because of local climate and environment, it often lacks the varieties of the supply for winter products, it mainly compensated by selling products from different origins, however, the cost has been vastly increased. As part of the agricultural facilities, greenhouse relying on good environmental regulation to influence the growth process of plants, hence increasing the yield of plants and changing the ripening time of plants. With the increasing use of automatic monitoring inside the greenhouse, comparing with traditional sunshine greenhouse, the modern greenhouses are much better progressed in changing local ecological environment, and improving the production efficiency. Along with the large-scale development of the temperature technology and the demands for intelligence and portability, the localization of monitoring and remote communication are the inevitable trends for greenhouse monitoring system technology. Especially the use of modern sensor technology and the progress communication technology, as well as the advances in communication technology, automatic control technology and the progress of the computer software enabled the acceleration towards the greenhouse control systems. Therefore it is the main trend in greenhouse technology, to mobilize and remote control the greenhouse; using computers are control center.This paper introduced the design of greenhouse monitoring system based on mobile phones and kingview design. it mainly consists of two parts:the first part is the design of local monitoring system, based on the kingview software, through a wired connection to collect and process the real-time greenhouse data, hence realizing the overall data monitoring, and the curve drawing of the data collected at any time, as well as functions such as using alarming and history recording, etc.Among with them, the greenhouse internal temperature data and humidity data will be monitored by the temperature sensor (HD-E-ST-T3-P1-V05) and humidity sensor (HD-S-SH-P1-V05), transmitted via the interface circuit board to the PC machine PCL-818L data acquisition card. The second part is the design of remote monitoring, the received data will be connected by the PC to the network and mobile phone, through the WEB and wireless communication mode respectively. The mobile communications will be suing the G100communication module, the module will be connected to the PC through conversion of the G200TTLBB converting module into nine pins serial cable. The wireless communications are powered by JHC20-12switch power supply.The Verification experiment was then designed according to the control system described above. Based on the analysis of temperature and humidity data of Kunming, December was selected as the time for the experiment, as there was more obvious difference in indoor and outdoor temperature. By comparing the growth rate and germination of lettuce seed both inside and outside of the greenhouse, the effectiveness of the system operation can be verified. During the experiment, the germination of the lettuce seeds inside the greenhouse budded one to two days in advance, comparing with the seeds outside of the greenhouse. In addition, there are better growth rate and growth condition. The greenhouse monitoring system will monitor the data daily, and uploaded the data to the mobile phones.Through actual operation, the results showed that the PC are able to monitor data inside the greenhouse, as well as recording the data and uploading it to the mobile phones. The greenhouse monitoring system was able to adjust the greenhouse environment according to crop demands, running in good conditions overall. It meets all the requirements necessary for remote monitoring.
