Considering the high organic matter content, the chickenmanure can take as first choice for base fertilizer, and the second choice is pig dungand mink manure. The topdressing should be aware of the varied growth period’srequirement for N, P, K. The greenhouse cantaloupe appropriate cultivation densityis1500plant/667m2, the suit planting spacing is45cm×90cm, double-vines type,one fruit per plant, the best yield and benefit can be get.（3）The climate condition of Southeast Fujian area contrast to Hami area ofcantaloupe origin varies significantly, So the cantaloupe plant in Southeast Fujian,the suitable species should be first selected, and with necessary production facilitiessuch as steel arch greenhouse, double film-mulch, drip irrigation under mulch filmto reduce the unfavorable climate condition influence.(4) The shortcoming and development condition of Cultivation cantaloupe inSoutheast Fujian are discussed, and the following strategies are put forward to promoting the industry development: Improve the technology research andpopularization system, develop the cooperation of Fujian and Taiwan; stimulate thebreeding, making proper planting plan; set up the cantaloupe industry association,improve the service level of agricultural cooperation organization, foster brandconsciousness; promoting the picking and after picking treatment process, enhancethe industrialize and standardize level, raise the product characteristic, fully utilizethe pop information platform and enhance the information service.
