In this study, we used ecology theory and obeys the basic principle of herbecological recycle system and the flowing of energy, it also uses the technology ofChinese pennisetum and Chinese herb to feed pig, and the technology is completed byherb institute of Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in the period of “six five”“seven five” and “eight five”.With firedamp forming the mould of “pig-firedamp-herb-pig”, it made greateconomy efficiency and social efficiency. This form of sustainable development withpig as the center of the system, and with agricultural ecological engineeringconciliating environment, biology and personnel controlling, organizing the system ofbreeding pig and realizing the comprehensive effection of economy, society, ecological and the breeding of pig, solves the problem of pollution in swineproduction. And herb plays an important part in the course, Chinese pennisetum is oneof the example. The Chinese pennisetum has played an important part in the ecological pigrearing mode for its characters of high-production, excellent quality,high-temperature-proof and long period grass growing, especially for its character ofreducing waste water. The paper is meant to analyze the growing character of theChinese Pennisetum and to sum up the growing process and the technique whichemploys pennisetum to raise pigs. The technique is aimed at assuring customers’health and producing harmless green food. Its adoption of ecological theory toconduct production and application of Chinese pennisetum as primary feedingmaterial in the ecological pig rising. Feeding model of “Pig-Methane-Grass” broughtabout remarkable economic benefit and social benefit, which also open up a newterritories in the field of ecological environment improvement and circulativeeconomy.
