Research And Extension Of Specialized Unified Prevention And Control Of Crop Pests And Diseases In Yiyang City

In order to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of crop pest and disease control, to improve the ability and level of disaster prevention and mitigation of plant protection, and to establish a pest control system model suited to the development of modern agriculture and social progress, the author, relying on Yiyang City Plant Protection Station, studied on how to conduct a unified and specialized crop pests control and integrated a technical system suitable to Yiyang, which was popularized in practice.Summed operable specific technical measures were studied and a supporting technical system with concrete programs was constructed through a lot of data analysis, questionnaires, seminars consulting, telephone inquiries, etc.. The case studies, empirical analysis, investigation and inspection visits were taken to gather first-hand information that was combined with secondary data. Agricultural, biological, physical and chemical control techniques were evaluated.In recent years, the agricultural sector at all levels of technological system in Yiyang City actively guided and developed crop pests specialized control, and promoted continuous improvement in work practices suitable for local production of the actual technical systems. Efficient mode of operation and scientific management methods for crop pest professional control work carried out to provide a scientific basis for the research results in the city to promote the application, resulting to great improvement of the pest control effect, pesticide use reducing, improving labor efficiency, farmers’ income increasing, higher agricultural production safety, higher product quality and the environment safety. Currently the city’s56professional service organizations contracted services throughout the area126333.33hm2, covering farmers up to56,419. In five-year cumulative total new production319831.26t, new output value811,544,100yuan,103,135,300yuan saving of pesticides and labor were achieved, totally increasing revenue amounted to914,679,400yuan.This paper also analyzes the problems in pest professional control and proposed insights on future direction of development, and solution of the problem, the development of countermeasures.
