Comparison Daozhen County With Domestic And International Tobacco-growing Areas On Chemical Components Of Flue-cured Tobacco Leaves

The ecological conditions, varieties, cultivation, curing technique and production management techniques affect comprehensively the chemical composition of flue-cured tobacco. The chemical composition of flue-cured tobacco from different growing-tobacco areas formed its own unique quality features and style differences. The difference of chemical components of flue-tobacco leaf between Daozhen county and main domestic and overseas were compared and the chemical components of flue-tobacco leaf from Daozhen county were fuzzy comprehensive evaluated by detecting total sugar, reducing sugar, protein, nicotine, total volatile acids, total volatile bases, petroleum ether extract, total nitrogen, potassium, chlorine and sulfate radical of flue-tobacco samples with central leaves from the typical tobacco-growing town of Daozhen county and main domestic and overseas. The results were as follows:1) The pH of flue-cured tobacco in Daozhen county of Guizhou province is5.38. It is very significantly lower than Nabjian county of Yunnan province, and it is very significantly higher than Zimbabwe and Brazil.2)The total sugar of flue-cured tobacco in Daozhen county of Guizhou province is24.86%, It is significantly lower than Nabjian county of Yunnan province and Puan county of Guizhou province and Ninghua county of Fujian province, and it is very significantly higher than Brazil. The reducing sugar of flue-cured tobacco is22.33%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Nabjian county of Yunnan province and Puan county of Guizhou province and Ninghua county of Fujian province, and it is very significantly higher than Brazil.The protein of flue-cured tobacco is5.43%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Nabjian county of Yunnan province.The total alkaloid of flue-cured tobacco is3.12%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly higher than Xiangcheng county of Henan province.3) The total volatile acids of flue-cured tobacco is0.07%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Ninghua county of Fujian province.The total volatile bases of flue-cured tobacco is0.44%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly higher than Puan county of Guizhou province, Xiangcheng county of Henan province, Luoping county of Yunnan province, Nabjian county of Yunnan province, Ninghua county of Fujian province, Zimbabwe and Brazil.4)The total neutral petroleum ether extract and total alkaline petroleum ether extract of flue-cured tobacco was1.29mg/g and1.50mg/g from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is not significant than other producing areas. The total acid petroleum ether extract of flue-cured tobacco is14.30μg/g from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Luoping county of Yunnan province.The total petroleum ether extract of flue-cured tobacco is6.18%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly higher than Puan county of Guizhou province and Nabjian county of Yunnan province.5) The total nitrogen of flue-cured tobacco is1.98%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is not significant than other producing areas. The potassium of flue-cured tobacco is2.06%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is significantly higher than Xiangcheng county of Henan province. The chlorine of flue-cured tobacco is0.40%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Xiangcheng county of Henan province, and it is very significantly higher than Puan county of Guizhou province, Kaiyang county of Guizhou province, Ningyuan county of Hunan province, Nabjian county of Yunnan province, Ninghua county of Fujian province and Brazil.The sulfate radical of flue-cured tobacco is1.75%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Kaiyang county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly higher than Luoping county of Yunnan province, Zimbabwe and Brazil6) The difference between total sugar and reducing sugar of flue-cured tobacco is2.38%from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Nabjian county of Yunnan province, and it is very significantly higher than Kaiyang county of Guizhou province and Luoping county of Yunnan province. The total sugar/nicotine of flue-cured tobacco is7.18from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Puan county of Guizhou province and Luoping county of Yunnan province. The nitrogen/nicotine of flue-cured tobacco is0.63from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly higher than Kaiyang county of Guizhou province and Nanjian county of Yunnan province. The potassium/chlorine of flue-cured tobacco is5.22from Daozhen county of Guizhou province, and it is very significantly lower than Kaiyang county of Guizhou province.7) The similarity of chemical components of flue-cured tobacco was the highest between Daozhen county of Guizhou province and Ningyuan county of Hunanprovince, the next was successively Zimbabwe, Kaiyang county of Guizhou province, Ningyuan county of Hunan province, Nanjian county of Yunnan province, Brazil, Ninghua county of Fujian province,Luoping county of Yunnan province, Xiangcheng county of Henan province,Puan county of Guizhou province.8) Comparing with main domestic and overseas leaves, the sugar, chlorine and sugar/nicotine of Daozhen county leaves were relatively lower, and its total petroleum ether extract and potassium/chlorine were relatively higher.
