The physical index, conventional chemical constituents, neutral aroma concentrations, plastid pigment and organic acid in flue-cured tobacco leaves were studied with the tobacco samples selected from Yongshun County including Furong Town, Songbai Town, Shidi Town and Zejia Town. By means of the variance analysis and simple correlation analysis, the correlation between the smoke panel tests and the physical index, conventional chemical constituents, neutral aroma concentrations, plastid pigment, organic acid. The main results were as follows:1.Blade thickness range was 0.04?0.16 mm, its mean was 0.09 mm and standard deviation was 0.03, which showed that the blade thickness difference was lesser; Foliage density range was 42.15?87.53 g/m2, its mean was 60.33 g/m2 and standard deviation was 11.55, which showed that difference was greater; Equilibrium moisture content was in the range of 10.32?12.27%, the average was 11.25%, the standard deviation was 0.55; Cut tobacco filling value was in the range 2.60?2.60 cm3/g, the average was 3.94 cm3/g, the standard deviation was 0.59; The silk rate was in the range of 82.95?97.68%, the average was 90.79%, the standard deviation was 3.22; Stem ratio was in the range of 20.91?36.74%,. the average was 26.93%, the standard deviation was 5.35; Simple leaf weight was in the range of 6.40?14.10 g, the standard deviation was 1.66.2.The maximum value of total sugar and reducing sugar were higher, and their averages were relatively appropriate; Total nitrogen content was relatively appropriate; The mean of nicotine content was higher, but chlorine content conversely; The changing range of the ratio of potassium to chlorine was larger. The standard deviation of total nitrogen, chlorine and the ratio of nitrogen to nicotine were lesser; The standard deviation of total sugar, reducing sugar and the ratio of potassium to chlorine were larger.3.The benzene ethanol content of tobacco leaves in Furong Town is significantly higher than that of Zejia Town; 6-methyl-5-heptene-2-ketone, isophorone oxide, phenyl acetaldehyde, phenylethyl alcohol, furfural, linalool and maillard reaction products content in Songbai Town were significantly higher than that of other three towns; Geranylacetone, megastigmatrienone ?, beta damascene, phenylcarbinol, furfuryl alcohol,3,4-dimethyl-2,5-furan, solanone, total conyent (in addition to neophytadiene) and cembratriendiol group in Shidi Town were significantly higher than other three towns; Beta damascone, megastigmatrienone ?, megastigmatrienone?, megastigmatrienone IV,2-acetyl furan,6 methyl-5-heptene-2-alcohol, farnesylacetone, carotenoids degradation products, neophytadiene and total fragrances in Zejia Town were significantly higher than other three towns.4.Chlorophyll a content of tobacco leaf in Songbai Town was significantly higher than that of Shidi Town, and had no significant difference with Furong Town and Zejia Town; Chlorophyll b, total chlorophyll, beta carotene and total plamochromic pigment content were significantly higher than that of Furong Town, and had no significant difference with Shidi Town and Zejia Town.5.Oxalic acid content of tobacco leaf in Furong Town was significantly higher than that of the other three towns; Palmitic acid, senior saturated fatty acid and linoleic acid content were significantly higher than that of the other three towns; Y-laevulinic acid, citric acid, total amount of non-volatile organic acid and organic acid inShidi Town was significantly higher than that of the other three towns; Malonic acid, malic acid, oleic acid, linolenic acid, senior unsaturated fatty acids amount were significantly higher than that of the other three towns; Other organic acids content had no significant difference between the four towns.6.Tobacco leaf aroma quality, aroma quantity and sweetness of Yongshun County Located above average, aftertaste in "still comfortable and clean" class, offensive odor in the "slight" class, irritation in the "existing" class. Physiological strength, concentration, aroma quality, aroma quantity, aftertaste, offensive odor, sweetness and total score in the middle leaves were higher than that in the upper leaves; Irritation in the middle leaves was lower than that in the upper and lower leaves. Physiological strength and aroma quantity in Songbai Town were significantly lower than that in Furong Town and Zejia Town. Concentration, aroma quality, aftertaste, offensive odor, irritation and smoking total score in Furong Town, Shidi Town and Zejia Town were significantly higher than that in Songbai Town.7.There existed significant negative correlation between physiological strength, aromatic amino acid, maillard reaction products; Concentration scores was significantly positive related with simple leaf weight, the ratio of potassium to chlorine, and significantly negative correlated with total sugar, reducing sugar, starch, senior saturated fatty acid, maillard reaction products; Aroma quality significantly negative correlated with senior saturated fatty acid, organic acid amount; Aroma quantity scores was significantly negative correlated with class westpac alkanes and senior saturated fatty acid amount; Offensive odor was significantly negative correlated with nonvolatile organic acid, senior saturated fatty acid and total organic acid amount; There was significantly negative correlation between aftertaste score and senior saturated fatty acids; sweetness score was significantly negative correlated with senior saturated fatty acid and total organic acid; There was significantly negative correlation between smoking scores and senior saturated fatty acid.
