In order to investigate quality characteristics of Yunyan85, K326 and Hongda in Longyang area of Yunnan Baoshan.Analysis the physico-chemical properties and the main fragrance precursors of different flue-cured tobacco varieties before and after flue-curing and study on the influence of the quality of tobacco leaves in different mutuality and in different bulk curing room. The results indicated that:1. Under the ecological conditions of Baoshan Longyang, the moisture content in flue-cured tobacco leaves of Yunyan85 was higher than that of K326, while it in vein of K326 was higher than that of Yunyan85. There were more bound water in the flue-cured tobacco leaves of Hongda and more polar organic compounds compared to Yunyan85. Before roasting, tobacco leaves of Yunyan85 and K326 accumulated a wealth of starch and protein. But Hongda had less of it. As a result, level of the total sugar, reducing sugar, differences between two kinds of sugar and amino acids, nicotine in leaves of Hongda were lower compared to Yunyan85 and K326 after baking. Compared with Yunyan85 and K326,content of non-reducing polysaccharide was low and variations of sugar-nicotine ratio of Hongda after flue-curing was small. The ratio of reducing sugar-amino acid and amino acid-nicotine of Hongda tended to decrease.2. There are differences among the content of chiefly polyphenol of different flue-cured tobacco varieties that was planted in Longyang area of Yunnan Baoshan. Hongda content of chlorogenic acid and Rutin of fresh leaves is highest before and after flue-curing and decreased respectively by 44%and 14%during flue-curing process.3. Hongda content of carotenoid was higher Compared with K326 and yuyan85 before flue-curing and Lutein andβ-carotene content reached 351.31μg/g and 391.03μg/ g. K326 content of Lutein andβ-carotene reached 254μg/g and 28μg/g and decreased respectively by 77.68%and 93.48%during flue-curing process.4. Analysis the main chemical propertiess of yunyan85 lower leaves harvested in different mature stages (unripe, ripe and overripe) before and after flue-curing in Longyang area of Yunnan Baoshan. The ripe leaves total sugar and reducing sugar content reached 28.5%and 24.83%, reducing sugar/total sugar 87.11%, nicotine content of 1.27%, sugar/nicotine 22.37%, chlorogenic acid and rutin were 6.75mg/g and 6.14mg/g, was harmonious chemically after flue-curing...
