In the production, as the growers simply pursuit of production, using amounts ofchemical fertilizers, lead to the quality decline of Yali pear, meanwhile, using amounts ofsingle fertilizer, made the fruit tree nutrition imbalance, the brownheart incidence of fruitduring storage is increasing, so the kind and amount of fertilizer is particularly important.In this paper, using the27years old bagged Yali pear trees as materials, effects ofproportions of Boron, Potash and Calcium fertilizer application on Yali pear quality and thebrownheart at low and room temperature were studied. The main results were as follows:1. The post-harvest physiological changes of Yali pear at cold and room temperaturewere studied. The results showed that the tendency of changes in the tow varieties werequite similar. Under storage, the value of hardness, titratable acid and vitamine C contentdiminished gradually. Soluble solids, soluble sugar content, the activities of PPO and totalphenolics content rose firstly and then depressed, the core browning index increasedsteadily.2.1.125kg Borax,3kg Potassium sulfate+1.125kg Borax and spraying0.08%calcium chloride increased the weight of single fruit of Yali pear. Certain concentration ofBoron, mixed of Boron and Potash fertilizer and calcium chloride increased the hardness ofYali pear, and spraying0.08%calcium chloride was the best treatment. After sprayingBorax and Potassium sulfate the soluble solids and soluble sugar content were higher thanother Borax and Potassium sulfate treatments, and spraying0.1%calcium chloride was thebest treatment.1.125kg Borax,4.5kg Potassium sulfate+1.125kg Borax, spraying Boronand Potash fertilizer and spraying0.1%calcium chloride increased the vitamine C content.3. The core browning index of Yali pear in storage decreased after fertilizing Boraxalone, Borax and Potassium sulfate mixed fertilizer and calcium chloride, and spraying0.1%calcium chloride was the best treatment. PPO activity of core of Yali pear were lowerthan control except fertilizing4.5kg Potassium sulfate+1.125kg Borax, and spraying0.1%calcium chloride was the best treatment.The total phenolics content of core of Yali pearwere lower than control after postharvesr, and1.5kg Borax was the best treatment.4. In the early core browning time, the core browning index was highly significantly positive correlations with the activity of PPO, and was significantly positive correlationswith the N content and the ratio of N and Ca of core of Yali pear.5. Spraying0.3%Borax+0.5%Potassium sulfate,0.08%calcium and0.1%calcium pertree could improve fruit quality and control brownheart of Yali pear.
