In order to look for paths to develop forest-under-economy, I study the forestundergrowth in south Hebei Province. We Collect samples and investigate data of raisingChicken understory, Cultivate Edible Fungi and the planting Chinese traditional herb underthe forest in the county such as linzhang, qiuxian and quzhou. The mainly contents ofstudy are several aspects,(1) the forest undergrowth effect the soil composition andstructure;(2)the forest undergrowth effect the tree growth;(3) analysis on the economicbenefit of the forest undergrowth;(4) emergy-based analysis of the forest undergrowtheconomy system. The results as follows:1. the soil: ecological Model of Raising Chicken understory, ecological Model ofraising edible mushroom understory, ecological Model of raising herbs understory thethree models reducing the soil bulk density, increased porosity and water, increased the soilorganic matter such as N,P,K in the soil of0-5cm and5-10cm.2. forest growth: ecological Model of Raising Chicken understory, ecological Modelof raising edible mushroom understory, ecological Model of raising herbs understory, Thetree models is higher and Diameter at Breast Height is longer significantly more thancontrol group.3. economic benefit: ecological Model of Raising Chicken understory, ecologicalModel of raising edible mushroom understory, ecological Model of raising herbsunderstory the three models economic benefit is better than Traditional Model.4. emergy-based analysis: as indicated by ELR and ESI, ecological Model of RaisingChicken understory, ecological Model of raising edible mushroom understory, ecologicalModel of raising herbs understory the three models systems produces lower ecosystemstress and pressure on environment and correspondingly is more sustainable thanTraditional Model....
