Edible fungi are delicious and have rich nutrient, which contained protein, amino acids, lipids, sugars, nucleotides, mineral elements and vitamin and so on. They have edible andmedicinal value because of the coexist characteristics of low sugar, low fat, high protein andmany kinds of amino acids. Ramaria Botrytis, belongs to Aphyllophorales and Clavariaceae,is a kinds of important edible and medicinal mushroom. Research proved that R. Botrytismainly contained triterpenoid, sesquiterpene, adenosine, large ring lactone and pyranoidketone and so on. But at present, its chemical compositions have seldom been researched. Inorder to further clear the chemical composition in R. Botrytis, some studies have been done asfollowing.1. The chemical components of R. Botrytis have been explored through the Chinesemateria medica of the chemical composition of preliminary experiment. The results showedthat the chemical components of R. Botrytis could contain volatile oil, lactone, sterols, organicacid, terpenoids, carbohydrate and protein.2. On the basis of single factor test, hot water extraction was determined by theorthogonal test to optimize the extraction process conditions of polysaccharide of R. Botrytis(RBP). The results showed that the optical extraction conditions was the ratio of material toliquid1:20, extraction temperature90℃, the extraction time2.0h, the RBP extraction rate is5.63%. The order of factors influencing RBP extraction yield was ratio of material to liquid>extraction temperature> extracting time. In addition, the antioxidant effect on removingDPPH free radicals of RBP was investigated, and the results found that RBP has certainantioxidant capacity.3. The petroleum ether fraction of the R. Botrytis composition extracted with soxhlet iwas analyzed using GC-MS, the results found the main compositions containedn-hexadecanoic acid,(Z, Z)-9,12-octadecadienoic acid, oleic acid,9,12-octadecadienoic acidethyl ester and ethyloleate, which total content was more than95%. Other two fractionextracted from petroleum ether part were also analyzed by GC-MS. The consistents in liquidoil were mainly linoleic acid, linoleic acid ethyl ester, trans hexadecanoic acid, stearyl acid, tetracosane and octadecane, etc.; meanwhile, those in solid oil were mainly transhexadecanoic acid, oleic acid ethyl ester, oleic acid,19olefine acid and tetracosane, etc. 4. Employed the separation and purification methods of solvent extraction, differentphase solvent extraction, silica gel and ODS column chromatography, Sephadex LH-20,crystallization and recrystallization, ten compounds were isolated and purified, six of whichstructures were identified by mass spectrometry (MS), nuclear magnetic resonance spectrum(NMR) technologies and physic-chemical properties. Five compounds in petroleum etherfraction were identified as ergosterol, ergosterol peroxide, oleic acid ethyl ester, linoleic acidethyl ester, and stearic acid ethyl ester. Protocatechuic acid were isolated from the ethylacetate fraction. Other four compounds were identified as a carbohydrate and3terpenoids,respectively, by NMR spectrum and physical and chemical properties.
