Research On The Current Implementation And Countermeasures Of Soil Testing And Formulated Fertilization Project In Liaoning Province

The implantation of soil testing and formulated fertilization projecthas been carried out nationwide since2004, which can help in terms ofreducing cost and increasing efficiency; that is, reducing fertilizer input,lowering production cost and increasing the economic output of crops;alleviating the diseases and insect pests loss of crops, improving thequality of agricultural products; relieving the imbalance between supplyand demand of chemical fertilizer and the stress of resources and energy;preventing non-point source pollution of fertilizer and enhancing the soilability for constant agricultural production. The soil testing andformulated fertilization project in Liaoning Province has achievedfavorable social benefits, economic benefits and ecological benefits sinceits implementation in2005. However, a number of problems earnestly tobe solved still exist in this project. It is extremely urgent to make a deepresearch of the implementation of the project and energetically exploresoil testing and formulated fertilization project consistent with nationaland provincial circumstances in perspective of the present reality inLiaoning Province.This paper makes a systematic research and statement of the currentimplementation, existing problems and solutions of soil testing andformulated fertilization project in Liaoning Province by adopting themethods of experience summary, field research, etc. Firstly, theoriesrelevant to soil testing and formulated fertilization project are expoundedsystematically and development history of soil and fertilizers sciencehome and abroad is reviewed. Furthermore, a meticulous and in-depthanalysis of the existing problems is made by combining theimplementation of soil testing and formulated fertilization project, whichincludes five specific aspects: project fund appropriation is comparativelylate, service ability is not strong enough, working promotion is notenough, the promotion of formula fertilization is weak, etc. On that basis,the reality in Liaoning Province will be combined by taking the problemsexisting in the soil testing and formulated fertilization project as the starting point. The countermeasures and suggestions of Liaoning soiltesting and formulated fertilization project will be optimized further fromthe four aspects of “solving the problem of later fund”,“focusing on‘consolidating, deepening, expanding, improving and combining’”,“carrying out the promotion of renovation system, demonstrate and drivethe technology popularization” and “intensifying the cooperation betweenagriculture and enterprises, popularizing formula fertilizer vigorously”, soas to provide ideas for further reinforcing the implementation of Liaoningsoil testing and formulated fertilization project.
