Chemical fertilizers play a decisive role in agricultural production, but excessive application of chemical fertilizers has been widespread in China, which has caused many negative effects on agricultural production and the ecological environment. In order to solve these problems,China began to popularize testing soil for formulated fertilization technology in 2005.This technology is one of the means to minimize the use of chemical fertilizers and improve the utility efficiency. It also has played an important role in reducing cost, increasing agricultural production and reducing non-point source pollution.Jilin Province,as a major agricultural province, began to promote testing soil for formulated fertilization technology as early as 2005.It has been more than ten years and has made great contributions to promoting fertilizer reduction and efficiency. However, during the promotion process,it was found that the willingness of farmers to adopt is not high, and there is a problem of low technology households. In this regard, this article analyzes internal and external factors affecting the adoption of soil testing and formulating technologies by farmers, and proposes countermeasures and recommendations. The formulation of a more appropriate technology promotion and service system has certain practical significance for increasing the adoption rate of soil testing formula technology and achieving zero growth of fertilizers. This thesis mainly studies the influencing factors of farmers’ adoption behaviors of testing soil for formulated fertilization technology in Jilin Province, and conducts specific research on internal and external factors through questionnaire survey methods, literature research methods, and empirical analysis methods.First, based on the field survey questionnaire in Jilin Province,231 samples of data were collected.Based on the theory of technology diffusion and behavior theory of farmers, the internal and external factors affecting the adoption of soil testing and formulation techniques by farmers were analyzed, including: individual characteristics,Based on six aspects, including business characteristics, technological cognition, policy factors, information source channels, and technology promotion,a qualitative analysis of each influencing factor is made on this basis.Secondly,a descriptive statistical analysis of the survey data in various regions of Jilin Province was conducted to analyze the adoption rate of farmers under various influencing factors. Finally,by constructing an econometric model and using binary logistic regression for empirical analysis, the empirical study of individual characteristics, business characteristics, technical cognition, policy factors, information source channels, and technical extensions have a significant impact on farmers’ adoption behavior of testing soil for formulated fertilization technology with effect direction. The research results show that the scale of cultivated land, the degree of knowledge of soil testing formula technology, the usefulness of technology perception, the acquisition of technical information from agricultural technology extension stations, the acquisition of technical information from agricultural technology promotion network platforms, the training experience of soil testing formula technology, the receipt of soil testing. The formula fertilization recommendation card has a significant positive impact on farmers’ adoption of testing soil for formulated fertilization technology, and a significant negative impact on the perceived cost of technology.Among them, the degree of technical cognition and the technical information obtained from agricultural technology extension stations have the highest impact.Based on this, the following countermeasures and suggestions are proposed:(1)accelerate land circulation and promote large-scale land management;(2)use new media on the Internet to expand channels for technology promotion;(3)strengthen the promotion of the effectiveness of the technology;(4)deepen the technical promotion training, and active participation of the farmer, with a view to promoting the adoption of Testing soil for formulated fertilization technology.
