In public hygiene,Salmonella Typhimurium could cause zoonosis,threatening people’shealth and the development of livestock industry,since last century80’s,multiple anti-medicineSalmonella Typhimurium appeared and dispersed among human being and animals because ofthe high dose use of antibiotic.The Chinese herbs has a long application history as a kind of medicine in our country,andmany Chinese herbs products for curing animals are being invented,the clinic applicationshowing that some Chinese herbs have better treating effect in curing some bacterialdiseases.The Chinese herbs are composed of complicated components and through workingtogether,them could inhibit or disinfect antigen.This thesis is experimenting in vitro theantibacterial effect of Chinese herbs choosing the best Chinese herbs---Myrobalan,Chineserhubarb,Galangal,Pulsatilla chinensis.And,experiments in vivo are to test the effects ofcompounds on the pathological tissues caused by bacterium.32chickens are randomly divided into8groups,1~6groups are injected withSalmonella Typhimurium and taken with herbs,group7is injected with SalmonellaTyphimurium but not taken herbs playing as an control group,the8group is handled withnothing as the control one.Team1is taken herbs compounds with Myrobalan andGalangal,team2is taken Myrobalan and Chinese rhubarb,team3is taken Pulsatilla chinensisand Myrobalan,team4is taken Galangal and Myrobalan and Chinese rhubarb,team5istaken Myrobalan and Galangal and Chinese rhubarb,team6is taken Pulsatilla chinensis andMyrobalan and Chinese rhubarb, taking Chinese herbs for continuous6days with twice oneday,taking herbs medicines are completed and taking vein’s blood for bloodanalysis.Comparing the changes in lymphocytes,white blood cells and red blood cells afterinjecting Salmonella Typhimurium and taking Chinese herbs through blood analysis,theamount of chickens’ lymphocytes and white blood cells are decreasing to the normal levelwhile the red blood cells are increasing to the normal level after compounds.this indicts theSalmonella Typhimurium’s symptom is relieved and the bacteria are inhibited.And the liver isexpanding with different blood spots,the intestine appears blood strips and lumps in dark redcolour.especially the jejunum and duodenum,taking medicines the team4and team6’s are relieved,but not disappeared completely,this is the reason that the herbs need a long time tocure,showing the liver’s blood spots are less,the strip and lump are less and kidney and otherorgans’ symptoms are relieved.Except the team4and team6’s symptoms are relieved theother4teams’ symptoms have slightly apparent changes.With the pathological tissuesslices,intestinal villus are back to the normal shapes and chorionic epithelium has lessvacuolization,and the liver and spleen contain less lymphocytes,and the dead cells decreasecompared with the injection.After infecting Salmonella Typhimurium,in blood,the white blood cells,lymphocytes andred blood cells have apparent changes and organic tissues show the typical symptom ofchicken paratyphoid.with taking6days’ use of herbs compounds,white bloodcells,lymphocytes and red blood cells are covering or approaching the normal level,andindividual chickens appear obviously relieved clinical pathological changes.The herbs couldinhibit the damage of Salmonella Typhimurium to organs.meanwhile,the anti-medicine alsocan be avoided.This is meaningful in curing and preventing illnesses by SalmonellaTyphimurium.
