Objective According to "Veterinary Pharmacopoeia of PRC." and a great deal of references on Chinese herbs, a new kind of Chinese Patent vaginal effervescent tablets was developed. This kind of tablets is used to treat the endometritis of Cows that is commonly onset on the cows. The research includes the choice of the prescription, the Preparation technology and the standard of the quality.Methods Under the direction of Chinese Medical Theory the active principles can be extracted with different methods from each herb , then mix the active principles together according to the components of the traditional compositions . Their activities against Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus were determined through antibiotic test in vitro. And then one compositions with better antibacterial activity were further sorted out, and makes it to effervescent tablets. The best production technique of effervescent tablets was chosen out by orthogonal method. At last, quality criteria of KuHuang effervescent tablets was also studied. Identifying the herbs effective ingredient of the Prescription by TLC; The contents of Berberine Hydrochloride in the effervescent tablets were determined by HPLC; The stability of priscription was investigated by observing the remain specimen.Results KuHuangYe have the best inhibition to the main pathogens. The most suitable mounlding directions: the proportion of the tartaric acid and sodium bicarbonate is 1:1,the medication and effervescenet materials is 10:9 and the percent of the rest component is 5%. The sodium bicarbonate was encapsulated by 5% PEG6000. The corresponding spot of the testing and positive control samples can be got at the corresponding place in the thin layer plate, and none the negative sample by TLC; The result of the methology review indicated that the standard was steady and controllable. By observing the remains pecimen, The stability of preparation can be observed and the result showed the preparation was stable.Significance This prescription can displays the merits of safe, low poisonous, no residual, non-antibiotic of the pure natural Chinese medicine . Making the tea herb into the effervescent tablet on the basis of traditional preparation will prepare the method to improve.
