The safety problem is a fundamental problem. With the rapid growth of agricultural machinery, there are obvious problems such as difficulty when dealing with agricultural machinery accidents. A large number of agricultural machinery accidents caused huge casualties and property losses. Weather or not to quickly, accurately, fairly and rationally deal with agricultural machinery accidents affects not only the rural economic development and the safety of people’s lives and property, but also the establishment of a harmonious society, the achievement of social equity and stability. Due to frequent occurrence, limited resources available and technological backwardness, it is more and more difficult to fulfill the requirements of rapid socio-economic development on the handling of agricultural machinery accidents. In order to address this contradiction, it imperative to enhance the efficiency and quality of agricultural machinery accident Handling, which to a large extent relies on the technological improvement on the Handling of agricultural machinery accidents. This study is committed to learning from motor vehicle accident analyzing and handling experiences and based on the latest research results in China and abroad, conduct extensive research in several major aspects of the key technologies, such as accident classification, on-the-spot handling, vehicle inspections&appraisals and accident prediction. The main contributions of this study are summarized as the following five sections:1) Research on agricultural machinery accident handling procedures and classificationsAgricultural machinery accident handling procedures and classifications is the basis of the agricultural incident handling, which provides protection for improving the efficiency of accident handling and offers guarantees for dealing with accidents in accordance with the laws. After analyzing defects of the original method, this study proposes a fuzzy classification method, which can more objectively reflect the actual process conditions of agricultural machinery accident.2) Agricultural machinery accident cause analysisAgricultural machinery accidents are mainly caused by people, machinery, road conditions weather and other reasons. Low level of driving skills and safety awareness, tractors in bad mechanical condition and combine harvesters in poor mechanical condition are among some of the major reasons attributable to the accidents. This study, through the questionnaire survey conducted in some counties and county-level cities, summarily analyzes the factors affecting the occurrence of agricultural machinery accidents. An investigation was also conducted to identify the safety devices installed in tractors and combine harvesters, which helps to dissect the agricultural machinery accidents from the perspective of agricultural machineries’existing security factors.3) Research on the technology for handling on the spot agricultural machinery accidentThe technology for handling on the spot agricultural machinery accidents is the core part of the handling of agricultural machinery accidents, which to a large extent determines the level of improvement in handling agricultural machinery accidents. The key technology for handling agricultural machinery accidents on the spot includes standardized survey interview, scene-measuring technology, accident scene analysis technology and et al. The accident scene analysis technology is an important source of evidence. Especially for hit-and-run accident, through analyzing the liquid trace, it is likely to get information about the vehicle causing accidents, and help track and identify the vehicle. In the current study, based on the tire mark analysis, an idea is proposed to investigate the use of tire imprint and towing trace evidences to determine the initial velocity of the vehicle causing accidents.4) Research on the technology for vehicle appraisals&inspectionsVehicle Inspection treatment of agricultural machinery accidents is another source of evidence supplement. Intelligence and rapidness of vehicle inspection can greatly shorten the accident handling time, which is another key technology for enhancing the speed and accuracy of handling accidents. This study makes a research on functional property inspection method of agricultural machinery, establishes the BICC codes for property inspection and analyzes the inspection and identification technology for versatile vehicle, steering system, braking system, electrical system, lighting system and so on.5) Research on the prediction of agricultural machinery accidents Agricultural machinery accident predictions and formulation of the next annual accident control measures and Financial investment will substantially improve the capability in controlling and managing the agricultural machinery accidents, and meanwhile play an important role in saving administrative cost and reducing casualties and losses. In this study, in order to address the shortcomings of commonly used prediction methods, gray Markov prediction model is proposed.6) Summary and PerspectiveFinally, the summary of the whole study is made, and the prospect of the future research is given. In sum, the innovation of the study mainly reflects in three aspects:this study proposes a fuzzy classification method; this study establishes a method of using the tire imprint and towing trace evidences to determine the initial velocity of the vehicle causing accidents; this study establishes a method of BICC codes for property inspection; this study proposes a gray Markov prediction model. The above research on the handling of agricultural machinery accidents has important theoretical meaning and practical value.
