ObjectivesTo investigate the expression of p53and p21WAF1/CIP1in diabetes Spragne-Dawley rat’s eyes,as well as the expression correlation of both.Methods40healthy male SD rats were randomly divided into2groups:the intoexp-erimental group(20),the control group(20).Intraperitoneal injection60mg/kg strepto-zocin(STZ)to induce DM model,the control group conventional breeding.Use immunohistochemistry and ELISA detect the rats’ eyes respectively.Results1、The concentration measurement of p53and p21WAF1/CIP1of retina: concen-tration level of p53and p21WAF1/CIP1in the intoexperimental group were higher thanthe control group (P<0.05) in the retinal tissue.2、Immunohistochemistry result: The positive cell of p53and p21WAF1/CIP1express in the retinal ganglion cell layer.The control group rat’s retina express traceamount of p53and p21WAF1/CIP1 postive cell.The intoexperimental group’sexpression significantly increase,compared with normal control group was statistic-ally significant (P<0.05).3、 p53and p21WAF1/CIP1expression in the retinal tissue of diabetic SD rats werepositively correlated (rs=0.674).Conclusion1、There is a certain link between p53、p21WAF1/CIP1and diabetic retinopathy(diabeticretinopathy, DR), the duration of DR longer,the expression level of bothincrease.2、p53and p21WAF1/CIP1may participate in DR’s occurrence and development,the expression of both can be used to evaluate the the DR’s prognosis and pathological stage, which also provides the DR diagnosis, gene therapy a new idea. |
