Objective:To investigate the related risk factors of gynecological malignancyaccompanied with deep venous thrombosis(DVT),which may provide a reference forclinical prevention and treatment decision making. Methods:A hospital based case-control study was carried out. We collected60casesof gynecological malignancy with DVT as the case group, which had been treated inFujian provincial hospital from2008to2012. We also collected60cases ofgynecological malignancy without DVT as the control group which had been treatedin the same period. Then retrospectively reviewed the clinical data of those cases, including all the rated risk factors. With the help of software SPSS19.0,first we madeunivariate analysis and then used Logistic regression to evaluate the risk factors. Results: The univariate analysis results show that age, hypertention, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, pathological type of cancer, neoplasm staging, surgery, radiotherapy, centralvenous catheter and fibrinogen(FIB) were associated with DVT(P <0.05).Multifactornon-conditional logistic regression analysis results showed that: hyperlipidemia, diabetes, pathological type of cancer, surgery and radiotherapy may be theindependent risk factors of gynecological malignancy with DVT.Conclusions: Adenocarcinoma, hyperlipidemia, diabetes, surgery and radiotherapymay be the independent risk factors of gynecological malignancy with DVT. Theprognosis of gynecological malignancy with deep vein thrombosis is the result ofmultiple factors. High degree of vigilance, early prevention, timely diagnosis andtreatment are the keys to reduce mortality and improve prognosis.
